Internship Program Ayurvedic Health Counselor
The internship is designed for graduates of the Fundamentals program who want to develop clinical confidence through case studies, client consultations, mentorship, and supervised practice and want to become a Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor

This pathway provides a complete professional training including:

Many students choose the complete certification path from the start to fully immerse themselves in the study and practice of Ayurveda.
Clinical Experience & Internship
After completing the first year – the Fundamentals of Ayurvedic Medicine program – students begin working with real clients during the Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) Internship under supervision.
Students will see paying clients, allowing them to gain valuable clinical experience while potentially recouping part of their internship tuition.
By the end of the 18-month AHC training, students are prepared to begin practicing as Ayurvedic Health Counselors with practical experience and professional confidence.
Students who continue their studies toward the Ayurvedic Practitioner (AP) certification will also see paying clients during the AP clinical internship, further developing diagnostic and therapeutic skills while having the opportunity to offset part of the tuition for that internship.
Total program duration (AHC + AP): approximately 3.5 years.
Ayurvedic Practitioner Training
For students who wish to deepen their clinical training beyond the Health Counselor level, Sankalpa Ayurveda College offers an advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner Program.
This program includes:
- Western Medicine Fundamentals
- Advanced diagnostic training
- Pathology and case analysis
- Clinical practice development
- Supervised consultations
- Advanced therapeutic strategies
