At Sankalpa Ayurveda College, we believe that education is about more than the transfer of knowledge. It is also about personal growth, self-awareness, and developing the ability to support others on their journey toward health and wellbeing.
Our faculty consists of dedicated professionals, each bringing their own expertise, experience, and life wisdom. What unites them is a shared passion for Ayurveda, Yoga, and holistic health, along with a genuine desire to make this knowledge accessible to the next generation of practitioners.
In addition to our core faculty, we regularly collaborate with inspiring guest teachers, experienced therapists, and subject-matter experts. Through live online sessions and in-person classroom teachings, students gain access to additional knowledge, diverse perspectives, and valuable practical experience that further enrich and deepen their educational journey.
Riim Lagerwerf
Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner (AP) & Yoga Teacher, Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist, Integrative Health Coach
As Founder of Sankalpa Ayurveda College, I personally meet with every prospective student before enrollment to ensure our programs align with their goals and aspirations. I primarily teach Ayurveda Fundamentals, Therapeutic Skills, Advanced Clinical Ayurveda, and Holistic Business Development in both Dutch and English. As a mentor and coach, I am passionate about empowering students to develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to support others on their healing journey. Like every member of our teaching team, my own life path—guided by karma and dharma—has led me to the study and practice of Ayurveda. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to connect students and teachers with the timeless wisdom of the Vedas and to help preserve and share this profound tradition for future generations.
Pamela Ramnares
Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner (AP) & Yoga Teacher, Reiki Healer
Pamela teaches Holistic Business Development within our programs and supports students as a mentor and coach, helping them build the confidence, clarity, and practical skills needed to create a meaningful and sustainable practice. From a young age, Pamela was introduced to the healing power of nature. Herbal remedies, medicinal oils, and traditional preparations made by her parents and grandparents were a natural part of her upbringing and played an important role in maintaining health and supporting recovery from illness. Years later, during a period of personal health challenges, she rediscovered the wisdom of natural and Eastern healing traditions. This journey ultimately led her to Ayurveda, Yoga, and other holistic modalities that transformed her own life and deepened her commitment to helping others. Pamela brings a unique blend of intuition, compassion, and practical experience to her teaching and mentoring. Her ability to inspire, empower, and genuinely connect with students is a true gift and a valued contribution to our school community.
